Doyle Betsill Chief Executive Officer BBC, Atlantic
Doyle is responsible for coordinating acquisition and development activities at Betsill Brothers International. He also supervises operations in the Dominican Republic, where our exciting new projects have an emphasis on resort and oceanfront properties.
Doyle began his career working with his father in a construction and development company. Later, he was one of the four founding brothers of Betsill Brothers Construction, Inc. Since 1971, Doyle has brought with him valuable experience in single family, multi family and commercial contracting. In recent years, his emphasis has shifted from construction to farming, land acquisition and development. His vision is to build Smart Growth communities and neighborhoods in resort locations while utilizing sound environmental and green building principles.
Through the years, Doyle has served on a variety of industry and community boards including Habitat for Humanity, Kihei Community Association and the Board of Code Appeals. He has also served as President of the Maui Contractor's Association and Chairman of the Board of the Maui YMCA.
Doyle holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Arkansas Polytechnic University.
He loves living and working near the ocean in a tropical climate and enjoys surfing, windsurfing, kite-surfing and stand-up paddle boarding.
Erik Leuteneker Vice President of Finance & Development
BBC, Hawaii
Erik is responsible for the oversight of planning and development activities. He and his team evaluate development potential of properties under consideration for purchase and analyze the need for governmental entitlements to get us to the stage of construction. Planning activities include conceptual project designs and coordination of consultants responsible for carrying out the concepts. Erik is also responsible for the overall financial functions of the company: accounting, budget, reporting, credit, insurance, tax and treasury.
Erik enjoys his professional affiliations with The Rotary Club of Maui (Rotarian), Carden Academy (Board member), as well as La'a Kea Foundation (Board member).
Erik holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Santa Barbara.
Randy Betsill
Chief Executive Officer
BBC, Texas
As CEO, Randy is responsible for the overall operations of our Texas Division, which specializes in the development of residential, ranch and commercial communities.
Randy and his brothers founded Betsill Brothers Construction, Inc. in 1993. He has been in the construction industry since 1974 and has extensive experience in residential and commercial building, including supervising activities related to project development, site acquisitions, zoning, market analysis, financial feasibility and government approvals. Randy enjoys his professional affiliations with the Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, American Angus Association, American Society of Civil Engineers and Glen Rose Youth Baseball Association (Board Member).
Randy is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned a B.A. in Civil Engineering. Randy served as a Project Manager/Engineer for the FAA.
Randy has been married since 1981 and has four children. Randy and his family reside in Glen Rose and are active in both Glen Rose and Stephenville communities. Randy enjoys baseball, the outdoors and team roping, but his real passion is ranching and most of his spare time is taken up with raising Angus Cattle.
