The lodge is being designed to be in harmony with its setting and will be constructed with durable local materials. One of our goals is to build in a sustainable manner that causes minimal damage to the environment and results in homes that use less energy than typical buildings.

The two principles are Doyle Betsill and John Holzhall.
Doyle Betsill is a principal in Betsill Brothers Holding Company and has been designing and building quality homes for over two decades. His family company has constructed many quality projects on Maui. This will be his first project in the Dominican Republic.
John Holzhall has been teaching kite surfing for over a decade and has designed the KITEs Method as the most effective and safe path towards expert riding. His search for a warm water beachfront kitesurf location led him to the Dominican Republic.
